BOCO Custom LLC wants everyone to be able to browse and buy from our store. We are working to make bococustom.com easier to use for people with disabilities, including people who use screen readers, keyboard navigation, voice control or magnification.
Our goal
We aim to meet the Web Content Accessibility Guidelines (WCAG) 2.1 Level AA. We are a small shop, so this is ongoing work. We review our pages regularly and fix problems as we find them.
What we are doing
- Writing descriptive text for product images.
- Keeping text readable, with enough contrast against its background.
- Making sure menus, forms and buttons can be used with a keyboard.
- Using clear headings and plain language on product and policy pages.
- Testing new pages and design changes before we publish them.
Known limitations
Some parts of the store may not yet meet our goal. Some older product photos may not have full descriptions. Some content from third-party tools we use, such as the checkout, product reviews and payment services, is provided by other companies and may not be fully accessible. We are working on these items.
