What's the difference?

Raw steel provides a natural, mill-finish appearance and is ready for custom painting or clear coating. Raw steel is susceptible to rust when exposed to humidity, moisture, or outdoor conditions if left unfinished. To ensure proper adhesion and long-term corrosion protection, we strongly recommend proper finishing and if painting, applying a quality primer prior to painting. Our powder coat finish delivers a durable, uniform, and highly resistant surface that offers superior protection against chips, scratches, and rust with minimal maintenance required.
